Background. Rape according to Indonesian law is a criminal act involving unlawful sexual intercourse and sexual penetration into the vagina without or with coercion without the victim's consent. This sexual crime had the highest cases in the world in 2010 in South Africa. In Indonesia, the number of rape cases has increased by 31% since 2016 with Maluku Province being the highest number of rape cases with 1,398 cases. Rape cases often occur to students and college students because they are in a powerless and powerless position. Thus, the position of students and students is vulnerable to rape. Objective. To find out the level of knowledge of USU Medical Faculty students class 2019-2021 about rape. Method. Descriptive research with a cross sectional approach and the sampling technique used is probability sampling type proportionate stratified random sampling with a sample of students from the Faculty of Medicine, University of North Sumatra class 2019, 2020, 2021. Data collection is carried out using online questionnaires. Results. The level of knowledge in the good category is dominated by the class of 2020 (10%), then the class of 2021 (8.2%), and finally the class of 2019 (7.0%). Female has higher percentage than male. Conclusion. The level of knowledge of Medical Faculty of USU students for class of 2019, 2020, 2021 as a whole is categorized as moderate at 55.2%.
