    Abstract
Background. COVID-19 patients with comorbidities, such as hypertension or cardiovascular disease, have a high mortality rate and a high risk of showing severe symptoms of COVID-19 infection. One of the precautions to avoid COVID-19 is to vaccinate against COVID-19, where the COVID-19 vaccine has proven to be safe and effective in patients with comorbidities because the vaccine can prevent severe symptoms of COVID-19. Aim. This study aims to determine the relationship between COVID-19 vaccination status and clinical conditions, laboratory results, and ECG in COVID-19 patients with cardiovascular comorbidities. Methods. This research is a retrospective analytic study using a cross-sectional study design. Also, this study uses a non-probability sampling technique with total sampling. The samples obtained were 71 samples. Results. This study used bivariate analysis, using the Fisher's Exact Test, Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test, Independent T-Test, and Mann-Whitney. Several factors influence the absence of the relationship, such as the vaccine factor, host factors, the number of medical conditions that can worsen the patient's prognosis, and factors that affect the p-value, such as sample size, data variation, and the strength of the variable association. Conclusion. No association was found between COVID-19 vaccination status and clinical conditions, laboratory results, and ECG in COVID-19 patients with cardiovascular comorbidities at RSUP Haji Adam Malik Medan.
