dc.description.abstractRoad as one of the transport infrastructure is basically an important element in the development of business life. The road section of Panton Labu/Simpang - Langsa - Batas SUMUT is one of national roads across the eastern province of Aceh with a segment length are 179 km consisting of 8 segments and included in the category of primary arterial road and is one of the traffic lanes populous and important role for economy. This demanded the organizers to perform optimally handling. The problem is the limited ability of the government in handling the road. The purpose of this study was to analyze the prioritization in handling national road Panton Labu/Intersection – Langsa – SUMUT Border by using AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method. The technical criteria are used as the differentiating factor is the condition of roads, the current traffic of road and handling costs. Where the results of analysis with AHP method compared to the results of Bina Marga’s method. The results of the analysis with AHP to the questionnaire at 6 respondents who are stakeholders including representatives of program planners, representatives of executive and vice-user indicates that the criteria for road conditions is the criterion of the most considered in determine priority road handling that is equal to 56.38 %, the criteria of cost handling 31.55 % and current traffic criteria of roads by 12.03 %. The results of the analysis with AHP method also generates eight order of precedence handling where the road A.M.Ibrahim (Langsa) is the first priority. The result of the comparison with the Bina Marga’s method showed differences priority order of the two methods. Where the roads are the first priority with the method of Bina Marga is a segment Peureulak (km 392) – Batas Kota Langsa. It also shows that the roads are in a position of equal rank or 12.5 % of the total of eight roads ie roads Batas Kota Langsa – Batas Provinsi SUMUT. Ranked seven other roads or 87.5 % of total eight road got random position. From the ranking list building by Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method, there are four roads suffered downgrades and there are three roads has increased after compared with the results of the rankings prioritization by Bina Marga’s method.en_US
