Background. In December 2019, there was a new disease caused by the corona virus (COVID-19), along with the peak of the epidemic, covid-19 in children increased to stage 3-4 in various countries, in Indonesia alone there were 584 children confirmed positive for COVID-19, an increase the spread of COVID-19 causes manifestations or characteristic descriptions of symptoms that are different for each patient, especially children. Aim. Knowing the clinical manifestations of COVID-19 in pediatric patients at H. Adam Malik General Hospital. Method. This study used a descriptive method with a cross sectional approach. Results. Characteristics of the majority of respondents were male as many as 28 respondents (54.9%), the majority aged 0-5 years as many as 21 respondents (41.2%), with respiratory symptoms as many as 32 respondents (62.7%) and symptoms of fever as many as 47 people (92.2%), and as many as 16 respondents (31.4%) had comorbidities. Conclusion. in this study the characteristics of the majority of respondents were male with the age group 0-5 years as well as clinical characteristics of fever and respiratory symptoms.
