| dc.description.abstract | The many agricultural commodities, nutmeg is one of the spices that Indonesia exports to the world market. This fruit is a superior spice plant produced by Indonesian agriculture to be used as a cooking spice or exported to non-nutmeg production areas. Not only as a kitchen spice, but also used for health and the basic ingredients for making cosmetic products. The purpose of this study was to test the variation of rotational speed on the crusher and slammer, to examine the economic and ergonomic aspects of the performance of the mechanical nutmeg crusher using the Completely Randomized Design (CRD) method. The sizes of the pulleys used are 6 incies, 8 incies, and 10 incies in diameter with the results of the study showing that the largest effective capacity of the tool is found in the 6 inci crusher pulley and 6 inci slamming pulley of 618.369 kg/hour. While the lowest effective capacity of the tool is found in the 10 inci crushing pulley and 8 inci slamming pulley, which is 338.625 kg/hour. In the economic analysis, the basic cost of the tool is Rp. Rp. . 27,746 /kg, at the break event point (BEP) obtained with a value of kg 5.251 kg/year. Net present point (NPV) of 6% is Rp 1.567.740.633/tahun /year, while the interest rate of 25% is Rp 1.000.295.799/year. Internal route of return (IRR) was obtained with a value of 53.42%. | en_US |
