dc.description.abstract | The two-way conveyor potato planter (Solanum tuberosum) is a tool that was developed and redesigned to be able to grow potatoes better and the productivity of the planter is higher than manual planting. This study aims to modify and retest the performance of the tool with a variety of different speeds, namely: V1 =0.42 m/s, V2 = 0.47 m/s, V3 = 0.56 m/s and perform tool design calculations and economic analysis. on a mechanical two-way conveyor potato planter. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) non-factorial. The parameters studied in this study were the effective capacity of the tool, uniformity of spacing, and economic analysis. The results showed that the best plant spacing was at a speed of 0.56 m/s, with an average spacing of 25.3 cm, at a speed of 0.42 m/s the average spacing was 21.3 cm, while at a speed of 25 m/min the average spacing was 21.3 cm. 0.47 m/s obtained an average spacing of 23.0 cm. The effective capacity of the tool at the time of the study was obtained at 0.221 ha/hour. In the economic analysis, the basic cost of the tool is 2556,463 IDR/ha, Break Event Point (BEP) of 64.43 ha/year, Net Present Value (NPV) 6% of 1.104.247.136,3 IDR/year, Net Present Value (NPV) 25% is 651.857.929,76 IDR/year, while the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) is 71.38%. | en_US |
