dc.description.abstract | Potato planter (Solanum tuberosum) is a tool designed to plant potatoes properly and planter productivity is higher than manual planting. This study aims to test the performance of the tool with a variety of different tractor speeds, namely: V1 = 0.42 m/s, V2 = 0.47 m/s, V3 = 0.56 m/s. The parameters examined in this study were seed spacing, fuel consumption, tool working capacity, tool effectiveness, economic analysis, and ergonomic analysis. The results showed that the best spacing was found at a speed of 0.47 m/s, with an average spacing of 25.52 cm with a working capacity of 0.155 ha/hour. The average fuel consumption in this study is 0.5959 L/hour. The effectiveness of the tool obtained is equal to 7.7. In the economic analysis of the main cost of equipment obtained Rp. 2546.606/ha, Break Event Point (BEP) of 10,30 ha/year, 6% Net Present Value (NPV) of Rp. 722,685,582.66/year, 25% Net Present Value (NPV) of Rp. 422,053,477.15/year, while the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) was 70.65%. In the ergonomic analysis using Ergofellow software, the results show that there is still a need for further development of the tool. | en_US |
