Food Estate is a program that is run to maintain food security. Shallots as one of the selected commodities in this program will be cultivated with a digital farming system called Netbeat. Netbeat is a smart farming system that is used to simplify the cultivation process by controlling plants digitally. The influence of the environment and the treatment given during the cultivation process will affect the photosynthetic energy, where this can be observed from the greenness of the plant through the resulting vegetation index. Netbeat using Sentinel 2 satellite can calculate vegetation index algorithms in the form of NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index), NDRE (Normalized Difference Red Edge), and MSAVI (Modified Soil Adjusted Vegetation Index). By analyzing the seeds and bulbs of the Lokananta, Sanren F1 and Maserati varieties of shallots through the bomb calorimeter test, the results of the calculation of photosynthetic energy through the vegetation index can be compared. The results of the tuber bomb calorimeter test showed that the total calories produced were not optimal, where the heat test results were influenced by the water content and weight of the tubers. From the results of the vegetation index, the index range between 0.08-0.37 indicates that the plant has an unhealthy condition. Even in the value of photosynthetic energy efficiency produced, the percent efficiency is only around 0.1-1.7%, where the photosynthetic energy efficiency of shallots should reach 5.18%.
