Background. Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a decrease in the glomerular filtration rate (GFR) to <60 mL/minute/1.73 m2 or GFR >60 mL/minute/1.73 m2 with signs of kidney structural damage for 3 months or more. Hypertension is closely related to CKD HD because hypertension can be a cause or a result of hemodialysis (HD). The way that can be done to control blood pressure is the administration of antihypertensive drugs. The pattern of use of antihypertensive drugs in CKD-HD patients in hospitals is needed as an evaluation material in terms of the accuracy and optimization of drug administration. Aim. Knowing the pattern of use of antihypertensive drugs in CKD-HD patients at USU Hospital. Method. This study used data in the form of medical records of CKD-HD patients who were given antihypertensive therapy and also direct interviews with patients and nurses from the Hemodialysis Unit at USU Hospital in 2022. Sampling was carried out using the total sampling method, which then data will be processed with the SPSS computer program. Results. From the results of the study, it was found that most CKD-HD patients who received antihypertensive therapy were mostly male (52.2%), age group 56-65 years (28.3%). Most antihypertensive therapy is a combination of 2 drugs in the Angiotensin Receptor Blocker (ARB) and Calcium Channel Blocker (CCB) class with the drug name Candersartan and Amlodipine (19.5%). The most used drug class was CCB with the drug name Amlodipine (67.4%) either alone or in combination. Conclusion. From this study it can be concluded that the majority of patients were male, age range 56-65 years, receiving antihypertensive therapy combination of 2 ARB + CCB class drugs with the name Candersartan and Amlodipine, using CCB under the name amlodipine alone or in combination.en_US
