The process of decomposition of mangrove litter is a process of destruction of materials organic carried out by decomposers. Decomposers in the form of bacteria to be break down organic particles by removing enzymes so that they can describe organic material in the process of decomposition of mangrove litter. The aim of this research is to determine the bacteria that decompose and for knowing the decomposition rate carried out for 56 days in coastal waters Labu Beach Deli Serdang Regency. This research was conducted in August until October 2022 at Labu Beach Deli Serdang Regency. The result of this research gets 3 genus bacteria namely Bacillus, Enterobacteria, and Micrococcus and the decomposition rate analysis was obtained at station I 0.26, station II 0.25, and station III 0.25 which shows that the decomposition rate in this study is fast.en_US
