dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this study is to provide an explanation of Zainul Akhyar's unconventional political approach to the election for village chief of Tavern Durian, Deli Serdang district, North Sumatra, in 2022. The knowledge about the prevailing political approach in elections for village heads is a benefit of this research. The descriptive qualitative methodology is used in this study. In this study, offensive and defensive strategies are used according to the theory of political strategy. The findings indicated that incumbents have strong personal features and a great track record since they consistently deliver quality work. The two incumbents are making the most of their opportunities to pass and promote political marketing. The three current officials exhibit positive self-images and possess psychological traits. The four current officials frequently participate in social events and have volunteers. The incumbent candidate, however, has a vision and mission that are heavily embraced by the neighborhood. Additionally, the current leader formerly served as chairman of the North Sumatra Papdasi.
The study's conclusion is that the incumbent's political strategy—specifically, its offensive and defensive tactics—plays the largest role in influencing the psychological indicators, personal traits, promotion variables, and price variables. | en_US |
