dc.description.abstract | Background. Glaucoma is the number one cause of irreversible blindness in the world. This disease could cause a decrease in loss of vision that causes limitations in daily activities and also affect psychological function and emotions like anxiety and depression Aim. This study aims to know the association of anxiety level with glaucoma and risk factor that could affect anxiety status in a glaucoma patient Methods. This study is a retrospective analytic study using a cross-sectional study design. A non-probability sampling technique is used with consecutive sampling. The number of samples obtained is 60 samples. Results. This study used bivariate analysis, which is the Fisher’s Exact Test. Several factors influence no association between variables, such as fluctuating IOP value, a decrease of IOP because of medication, and factors that affect p-value like sample size, data variation, and the strength of variable association. Conclusion. There is no association between anxiety level and glaucoma | en_US |
