dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this stu$t is to determire the best number of seeds cuttings, gibberellin concentrotion ond immersion time for the germinotion of motgosteen seeds. This resemch conducted at Laboratory of Seed Techrclogt Faculty Agricukure, University of Sumatera Uara, Medanfrom December to March 2016. Experimental design used afactorial randomized block design with three factors, seedcutting, gibberellinconcentrations andimmersiontime. Parameters measured were membrane leokage (pmhos), normal seedling (/o), abrnrtnal seedling (o/o),died seeds (/o), germination rate (days), vigor Index (/o), sprouted seefu (/o), number of buds (piece), shoot height (cm), root length (cm), and dry weight of seedlings (d. fhe results show that intact mangosteen seeds or witlnut cutting application of gibberellin at a concentration of 75 ppm and 24 hours time immersion me the best Teatments to mangosteen seed germinationen_US
