dc.description.abstractBackground: Dysmenorrhea or menstrual pain is one of the complaints experienced by women during menstruation. Dysmenorrhea is lower abdominal pain during menstruation which is usually accompanied by other symptoms such as sweating, headache, diarrhea and vomiting. According to Sardiman, learning activities are physical or mental activities, namely acting and thinking as a series that cannot be separated. So if a person experiences symptoms of menstrual syndrome psychosis, it will reduce concentration and memory. Research objective: The relationship between Disminorea and Learning Activities for Student Activities at the Faculty of Medicine, University of North Sumatra, Class of 2020. Methods: This study used a descriptive analytic research design with a cross-sectional study approach. The research was conducted at the Faculty of Medicine, University of North Sumatra. The research will be carried out in August 2022 with a total of 77 people. Results: Students of the Faculty of Medicine, University of North Sumatra, Class of 2020, are at most 20 years old. Based on the age of menarche, most menarche students are aged 12-24 years (66.2%). Based on menstrual cycles, the most are with cycles of 21-35 days (60%), based on the length of menstruation, the most are 3-7 days. (78.5%). Based on family history, most of them have a family history of dysmenorrhea. Based on dysmenorrhea pain, most students of the Faculty of Medicine, University of North Sumatra, Class of 2020 were in the mild pain category (66.2%). Based on the learning activities of students at the Faculty of Medicine, University of North Sumatra, Class of 2020, most of them were in the undisturbed category (49.2%). There is a significant relationship between sleep and learning activities of students at the Faculty of Medicine, University of North Sumatra, Class of 2020 (p=0.021).en_US
