dc.description.abstractBackground. Epistaxis is bleeding that comes from the nose which is often called a nosebleed. Bleeding may originate from the anterior or posterior vessels. Epistaxis accounts for 15% of emergency cases in the ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) department. Aim. To measuee Knowledge Level of North Sumatra University Medical Faculty Students About Epistaxis. Methods. The study used descriptive method with a cross sectional design. Results. 55.9% (142 respondents) obtained sufficient, 31.1% (79 respondents) good, and 13% (33 respondents) obtained poor level of knowledge. Conclusion. Student knowledge about epistaxis in sufficient category.en_US
