Background. Diaper rash is an irritant contact dermatitis that occurs in the diaper area, namely the groin, lower abdomen, buttocks, and anogenital which is a very common health problem in infants and toddlers. Diaper rash often occurs due to the use of wet diapers due to urine and feces that are left too long, diapers that are rarely changed, skin hygiene that is not maintained, and an unhealthy environment. Other factors that play a role in the occurrence of diaper rash is the age of the baby, nutritional intake, working mothers, socio-cultural, economic, and educational as well as the level of knowledge of mothers about the use of diapers in infants is still relatively low. Aim. This study aims to determine the level of knowledge of mothers on the incidence of diaper rash in infants at the Amplas Health Center. Method. This study uses descriptive method with cross-sectional study approach. Data obtained through the distribution of questionnaires and interviews with 96 respondents. Result. From the 96 mothers, mothers who had good knowledge of diaper rash were found in the age group 20-40 years, college graduates group, the group that have jobs, the group with monthly income > IDR 3,500,000. Conclusion. The group of mothers who have good knowledge of diaper rash are mothers aged 20-40 years, college graduates, have a job, and earn > IDR 3,500,000 with the majority of mothers having a moderate level of knowledge about diaper rash.
