Colorectal cancer is cancer or the uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells originating from the colon and/or rectum which has the ability to spread to other parts of the body. It’s the third highest incidence rate in the world and ranks second as a cancer with the highest mortality rate in the world. Modifying colorectal cancer risk factors and early detection can reduce colorectal cancer mortality. Destination. The study was conducted to determine the level of knowledge of the community in RT04 Kapuk Village about colorectal cancer risk factors. Method. This research is a descriptive study with a cross-sectional approach. Conducted on people who live on Jl. Nusa Indah Raya RT04/RW09, Kapuk Village, Cengkareng District and met the inclusion and exclusion criteria, namely aged 25-61 years and filled out the questionnaire completely. Data was collected using a questionnaire that has been tested for reliability and validity. Results. From ninety people, most people have good level of knowledge (51.1%) about risk factors for colorectal cancer. The knowledge level of the middle age group is better than adults, the knowledge level of the female group is better than the male, the knowledge level of the group with the last education level is high school or equivalent degree is better than College, Middle School, and Elementary School, the knowledge level of the working group in the field of non-health workers are better than workers in the health sector, and the level of knowledge of the information source group does not vary better than varies. Conclusion. The majority of people in RT04 Kelurahan Kapuk have a good level of knowledge of colorectal cancer risk factors. | en_US |
