Karekteristik Pemanen Sawit (Tukang Dodos) terhadap Kualitas Kehidupan Bekerja: di Desa Bandar Selamat, Kecamatan Aek Kuo Kabupaten Labuhan Batu Utara

Abstract

The oil palm plantation sector is one of the strategic agricultural sectors to be developed so that in Indonesia itself oil palm plants have an important meaning for the development of national plantations because they are able to create jobs that lead to people's welfare. The focus point in this research is the quality of life of palm harvesters (Tukang Dodos) in Bandar Selamat Village, Aek Kuo District and what impacts are experienced by palm harvesters (Tukang Dodos) on their quality of life. The factors that affect quality of life are age, gender, education, marital status, employment status and support systems. The method used in this study is a quantitative method through the technique of distributing questionnaires to the people of Bandar Selamat Village. This research was conducted on oil palm harvesting workers (Tukang Dodos) and to analyze the data using an analytical tool in the form of SPSS. The results of the hypothesis testing carried out obtained the results of the correlation coefficient, it can be said that there is a significant relationship between the two variables. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between the characteristics of the respondent's length of service and the dimensions of the quality of working life of oil palm harvesters (tukang dodos).
