Background. Triage, response time, and decision time are important indicators that will determine the quality of service in the emergency room. Aim. To describe the response time and decision time based on triage in the USU Hospital’s Emergency Room on September 2021-August 2022. Method. This is a descriptive study with a cross-sectional design and uses secondary data obtained from the medical records of USU Hospital’s Emergency Room with the total sampling technique. Result. The implementation of triage in the USU Hospital’s Emergency Room has been routinely carried out with the most triage being yellow (87.15%). Response time duration based on triage according to the standard with the highest is green label (97.95%). Response time duration according to the standard with the highest is in September 2021 (90,08%). Response time duration based on department according to the standard with the highest is dermatovenerologi and general practitioner (90,91%). The length of decision time based on triage according to the standard with the highest is green (80,23%) in green. The length of decision time duration according to the standard with the highest is in April 2022 (54,85%). The length of decision time based on department according to the standard with the highest is general practitioner (90,91%).Conclusion. The implementation of triage in the USU Hospital’s Emergency Room is the most in yellow triage. The duration of the response time according to the standard is 82.85%. And the length of decision time according to the standard is 50.50%.
