    Gambaran Tingkat Pengetahuan Siswa SMA mengenai Maskne di Masa Pandemi Covid-19

    Abstract
    Background. Surgical masks become one of the most essential things in COVID-19 pandemic. According to WHO (2022), the correct way of using mask is to cover the nose, mouth, and cheeks without leaving a space between the face and mask. One of acne vulgaris predisposing factors is mask-induced mechanical occlusion. Maskne or mask acne is mechanical acne that manifests on the face mask region caused by repeated use of mask for a long duration. In the new normal era, adolescents, especially high school students began offline classes by applying COVID-19 protocols such as wearing mask from the time they left for school until they come home. The risk factor of mask-induced acne can be prevented. The lack of awareness of this phenomenon can affect their self-esteem, which can cause impaired learning performance. Aim. To describe the level of knowledge of high school students towards maskne during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods. This is a descriptive study with a cross-sectional design. The sample was taken using simple random sampling technique. Google form questionnaire is being shared through the grade 11th and 12th of Alfa Centauri Bandung Senior High School group chat. Result. Out of 89 participants, 22 participants (24,7%) have good knowledge, 28 participants (31,5%) have poor knowledge, and the rest of participant have moderate knowledge (43,8%). Conclusion. Based on this research, the overview of the level of knowledge of high school students toward maskne during the COVID-19 pandemic is categorized as moderate.
