| dc.description.abstract | This thesis analyzes the form of social network of street vendors in Panglima
Polem Market located in West Kisaran Village, Asahan Regency. The purpose of this study
is to explain and describe what kind of relationship and also the social network of street
vendors in Panglima Polem Market.
The method used in this study is a qualitative approach. This research is descriptive
in nature where the technique used to obtain data in this study is in the form of direct
observation techniques at the research site and also in-depth interview techniques between
researchers and informants. To obtain accurate data and use other data collection techniques
that support information gathering, namely documentation techniques using cameras and
voice recorders, as well as using literature studies.
From the results of the analysis using these methods and theories, it can be
concluded that there are norms that regulate the network of traders in the night market, there
are weak bonds created by actors that give rise to strong bonds, there are other roles that
bridge these actors in interacting, namely the role of communication media and the concept
of attachment that explains the relationship between fellow traders and buyers. | en_US |
