    Abstract
    This thesis describes the phenomenon: "Women in the Dynamics of Body Shame that happens to USU female students". This study explains how a person's physical condition can provoke bullying or bullying behavior from those around him. Bullying behavior based on body image background is then categorized as body Shame. Apart from the physical condition of the victims, this research will also explain how beauty standards influence the perceptions of the people around us in judging which ones should be praised and which ones should be praised bully. The purpose of this study is to describe qualitatively how the behavior body Shaming happens, the effect of body Shaming to the victim, and how the victim copes with the action of body Shaming. The research method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method. This research focuses on forms of body shame that often occur to victims/informants by using direct observation techniques and in-depth interviews. The method of data analysis was carried out using theoretical studies. The results showed that the three informants experiencedBody Shaming because their body shape is different from other friends in their environment. Body Shaming it contains insulting words that refer to physical forms such as: rivet, thin, skinny, boning and others. Effect from body Shaming Commonly experienced by victims are depression, stress, self-isolation, and lack of confidence. As for addressing the actionBody Shaming Accordingly, the victims decided to change their body shape in various ways including: surgery, weight gain, dieting to lose weight. From the results of the study, it was found that the victims felt better after changing their shape to a more ideal form. The act of Body Shaming is also no longer experienced as long as they have reached the ideal body shape.
