dc.description.abstract | MSME development is an activity carried out to advance and improve
MSME towards a better condition. The Medan City Micro, Small and Medium
Enterprises Cooperative Service provides guidance through the provision of
training, socialization/counseling and providing assistance in the form of tools
and funds according to the needs of the MSME sector. However, there are
problems in the development of MSMEs carried out by the Medan City Micro,
Small and Medium Enterprises Cooperative Service, namely the weak data
collection of MSMEs, the development of MSMEs is still uneven, and there is no
assistance for MSMEs who have received guidance.
The research method used in this research is descriptive research with a
qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out by interview, observation,
and documentation techniques. The data obtained were analyzed qualitatively
using the organizational performance theory approach proposed by Moeheriono
including effectiveness, efficiency, quality, timeliness, and productivity.
The results of this study indicate that the performance of the Medan City
Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Cooperative Service can be said to be
effective because the coaching objectives are achieved but, it is not yet efficient in
terms of funding because there is a gap between funds and data. The performance
of the Medan City Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Cooperative Service
from quality indicators can be said to be good in terms of transparency,
conditional, participative aspects, as well as the balance of rights and obligations.
However, MSME development is still lacking in terms of accountability and equal
rights. The performance of the Medan City Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises
Cooperative Service can be said to have good timeliness and productivity carried
out according to the ideal time, but the increase in the level of business of MSME
actors cannot be measured. | en_US |
