    Abstract
    A management information system is the use of information systems that consist of a collection of subsystems, both human and information technology applications that are integrated and collaborate with each other to process data into information to support management processes, operational activities and basic decision-making so as to achieve organizational goals. While the work environment is a state of the physical environment and non-physical environment that is able to influence employees in carrying out their duties in order to achieve organizational goals. This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of the management information system through the SIPANDU MEDAN application and the work environment on employee performance in DPMPTSP Medan City. The research method used in this research is associative research with a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out by distributing questionnaires, observation, and literature study. The sample of this research is 37 employee respondents who use the SIPANDU MEDAN application. From the research results, it can be seen that the management information system and work environment variables simultaneously have a significant and positive effect on employee performance. Evidenced by the value of Fcount (33,48) ˃ Ftable (3,27) and α of 0,00 ˂ 0,05. The management information system partially has a significant and positive effect on employee performance with tcount (2,294) ˃ ttable (2,032) and α of 0,03 ˂ 0,05. Work environment partially has a significant and positive effect on employee performance with tcount (2,158) ˃ ttable (2,032) and α of 0,04 ˂ 0,05.
