dc.description.abstract | Pematang Siantar City is one of the cities in North Sumatra Province which
actually has potential in the tourism sector, but so far the Pematang Siantar City
government is considered to have paid less attention to making Pematang Siantar
a Tourist Destination Area (DTW). This study aims to see the responsiveness of the
Tourism Office in the Development of Batu Island Bathing Tourism, Pematang
Siantar City. This study uses a descriptive research method with a qualitative
approach. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation,
interviews and documentation.
The data obtained were then analyzed using triangulation as a data validity
technique. This research is based on responsiveness indicators according to Agus
Dwiyanto, which include: (1) Public complaints, (2) The attitude of the
bureaucratic apparatus in responding to complaints from the public, (3) The use of
complaints from the public as a reference for improving service delivery, (4) The
actions of the bureaucratic apparatus to provide service satisfaction to the
community, (5) Use of services in the applicable service system.
Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that the responsiveness of
the Tourism Office in the Development of Batu Island Baths in Pematang Siantar
City is quite good. This can be seen from the implementation of several activities to
support tourism development in the city of Pematang Siantar. | en_US |
