dc.description.abstractThis study aims to see and explain how trading occurs in the Muamalah Amirat market, East Sumatra. The problem of this research is how the use of dinar dirham coins actually applies there, what is the difference with conventional markets in general and what are the problems for the market. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with an economic anthropological approach. In the technique of data collection is done by participatory observation, interviews, and data analysis to obtain the desired research results. This research has explained buying and selling transactions at the Muamalah market that use dinars and dirhams, as well as related conflicts and rejection from outsiders. There are also differences with conventional markets in general, the most obvious of which is the medium of exchange used.en_US
