Analisis Kecemasan Masyarakat terhadap Perilaku Anak Kost di Sekitar Jalan Pembangunan Kecamatan Medan Selayang

Abstract

The lives of boarding children have indeed felt a big change, usually at home they are always watched and supervised by their parents. But after they live far away from the eyes and supervision of their parents, they feel freer in associating with men or women. This study tries to describe the public's anxiety about the behavior of boarding children in the Medan Selayang Development Area, North Sumatra University. The method used in this study is a qualitative method by conducting interviews with the local community, boarding house owners and boarding house residents. The data analysis technique used in this research is by using qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that the behavior of the boarding house residents in the JalanPembangunan Medan area can be said to be less good. The residents of theboarding house often violate the rules that have been made by the boarding house owner. Public anxiety about the behavior of boarding house children in the Jalan Pembangunan Medan Selayang area is due to the absence of social control in the community towards the behavior of boarding house children. As a result of not implementing social control, lack of social awareness and not obeying the rules in society, where the community does not care about the surrounding environment.
