Pengaruh Kenyamanan Pengunjung terhadap Keberhasilan Taman Kota sebagai Ruang Interaksi Sosial (Studi Kasus: Lapangan Blang Padang Banda Aceh)

Abstract

City parks or public open space areas have become an important requirement in the development of a city. City parks that have a fairly high ecological and socialist function, where the existence of this city park can help reduce air pollution in the city and can also be used as a place to create social space to form a healthy culture for urban communities. The city of Banda Aceh as an Aceh province continues to experience an increase in the number of residents and is accompanied by the development of its urban infrastructure, one of which is the City Park. Blang Padang Field Park is one of the city parks or green open spaces that can be used by the community, this park functions as an open space for people around Baiturrahan District. In general, the existence of this park aims to provide a place for people to interact socially and exercise so that it is expected that city parks can provide a sense of comfort to visitors where visitor comfort is one of the important things in the success of city parks. However, the condition of the facilities and the number of facilities and infrastructure in this park are considered to still receive less attention, other things related to cleanliness and park facilities and infrastructure that still need attention. This study aims to analyze the effect of visitor comfort on the success of the city park as a space for social interaction in the Blang Padang City Park, Banda Aceh. The method used in this research is quantitative. Where, the primary data sources were obtained through field observations, documentation, and distributing questionnaires to tourists using the purposive sampling method. Meanwhile, secondary data were obtained from literature studies and institutions related to the object of research. The results obtained are that it is found whether or not there is an influence of visitor comfort on the success of the city park as a space for social interaction in the Blang Padang City Park, Banda Aceh. Then the results of the research can be used as science and become input in improving the quality of the city park as a space for social interaction based on the views of visitors to the Blang Padang city park, Banda Aceh
