Abstract
This research focuses on the quality of the text of the Indonesian Embassy in Beijing's web page translation, which is translated from Indonesian into Mandarin. The Nababan translation quality assessment model which defines three categories, namely accuracy, acceptability, and readability to assess the quality of a translation product, is applied in this study. This study aims to: 1) analyze the level of accuracy, acceptability and readability of the Indonesian Embassy in Beijing web page and 2) describe the translation quality of the Indonesian Embassy in Beijing web page. The method used is descriptive qualitative method. A rater who meets the requirements is assigned to assess the text which is divided into 37 data. The results showed that the translation quality of the Indonesian Embassy in Beijing's website was less accurate, acceptable and the level of readability was moderate, with an average score of accuracy of 2.45, acceptability of 2.51 and readability of 2.56 and a total score of 2.48 out of 3. From this it can be concluded that the contents of the source text are not properly conveyed to the target text, then the text can be generally accepted, and is very understandable to readers who are native speakers of the target text, even though there are several words in the target text that need to be read more than once to know the meaning.
