dc.description.abstract | Formalin is a colorless solution but has a very sharp fragrance. Detection of formaldehyde in the visible is very difficult to do so much cause unrest and losses in the community. This study is a design tool for classification of formaldehyde levels in salted fish. This tool is built using the MQ-138 sensor to detect formaldehyde levels in salted fish and TCS3200 sensor serves to read the color of salted fish to be detected. The results of the sensor will be classified using K-Nearest Neighbor Fuzzy Logic. The reading result will be displayed through the mobile display. The results of data readings by the sensor MQ-138 will be converted in ppm (parts per million). The way this tool works is that the tool is turned on and then the sample is inserted into the container that has been provided. After the sample into the container provided, the MQ-138 sensor will heat the sample and then read the formalin vapor. Along with the TCS3200 sensor will read the color change on the sample. The Output of the reading tool in the form of digital analog values are converted into ppm (parts per million) and displayed to the mobile. Then Fuzzy Logic K-Nearest Neighbor will provide a conclusion of the levels that have been obtained from the sensor readings. | en_US |
