Aplikasi Berbasis Android untuk Pengklasifikasian Kain Ulos Batak Menggunakan Algoritma Faster R-CNN

Abstract

Batak Tribe is one example of many tribes that lives in Indonesia. Ulos is Batak’s Tribe traditional cloth. Ulos has many functions, like used in Batak’s custom event like marriage, or just used in a daily life as a body warmer. As time goes, Ulos has made its name even to the world. But common people only know Ulos cloth through various object like bags, accessories, or clothes. So people only know Ulos is a traditional cloth from Batak but not the original area, as Batak itself consists of many sub tribe. In this research, the author makes an android based system that can classifies and identifies an Ulos cloth with the other using Faster R-CNN algorithm. This research is expected to help common people to know the origin of one Ulos cloth.
