dc.description.abstractOne of the serious disasters that often occurs in Indonesia is landslides. Currently the occurrence of landslides can be predicted by looking at the displacement of the soil from several measuring instruments that can detect changes in the position of the ground. One of the tools that can be used to see the displacement of the ground is an electronic device sensor that functions to measure the displacement of the soil on a surface, namely the extensometer. In the research that has been carried out using an ultrasonic sensor, Atmega328, optical fiber, comparator, detectodiode, and photodiode. After all the circuits are connected the ultrasonic sensor attached to the stative pole is raised from a distance of 5-50 cm with 5cm intervals. The electric waves that have been sent from the Atmega328 are converted by the fiber optic converter into light waves and then the photodiode will send a light signal to the detectordiode via a 3 m long optical fiber. Then the light signal goes out into an electrical signal again through the comparator which functions as a pulse refinement then the signal goes to the ultrasonic sensor via the trigger of the Atmega328, the ultrasonic as a transducer will read the shift measured via the receiver and the ultrasonic transmitter will send a signal via the echo Atmega328 then enters and becomes the light signal returns to the fiber optic converter, and becomes an electrical signal again and then ends up returning to pin 13 Atmegaa328. From the results obtained the tool can function properly and data can be received quickly. From the program configuration process that has been carried out into the Atmega328 Microcontroller which acts to carry out instructions using commands to the system which functions to affect the performance of the HC-SR 04 in the shift detection process and can be displayed on the monitor display. Then the resulting HC-SR 04 sensor performance shift measurements with reference values of 5 cm, 10 cm, 15 cm are 4.9 cm, 9.56 cm, 14.88 cm.en_US
