This research uses linguistic local wishdom approach as well. This approach is the foundation to understand human behavior and language in accordance with the background of belief and culture. Being selected as research setting, Tanjung Pura has some aspects of culture that are interesting, unique and worthy of research. In everyday life, the society still holds fast to the mores and cultural heritage of ancestors from generation to generation. At the time of the cultural legacy of the ancestor is nearly extinct due to the currents of globalization and modernization, Tanjung Pura is still able to defend it. One is the tradition of Mantra treatment that is readings or prayers are used to treat patients or patient In the life of its society, the tradition of Mantra treatment is used t0 treat diseases of the physical and non-physical or medical nature and magical with the traditional ways in the form of prayers, white water filed prayers, potions from herbs, pressing on a nerve points om the body, as well as the power of the supernatural. The result indicated that bomo does the practice for the society still trust the treatment and he also applies some cultural strategies to retain the patients.
