Analisis Risiko Kebangkrutan dengan Metode Altman Z-Score pada PT. Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk Periode 2018 – 2020

Abstract

Islamic banking is an Islamic financial institution in Indonesia that is a benchmark for the existence of economic development in Indonesia based on sharia. However, the reality is that Islamic banks, especially Bank Muamalat Indonesia, face a fairly high z-score. This is known from analyzing the financial statements of Bank Muamalat Indonesia from the last three years which have decreased. So this made Bank Muamalat Indonesia hit by a bankruptcy issue due to financial distress. So in this study tried to identify whether Bank Muamalat Indonesia has the potential to experience bankruptcy or not to experience bankruptcy using the modified Almant Z-score method. The purpose of this study is to determine the prediction of bankruptcy risk at Bank Muamalat Indonesia for the 2018-2020 period. This research uses descriptive research with a quantitative approach. In this study, the object used was the annual financial statements of Bank Muamalat Indonesia which were published from 2018-2020. The data type used is secondary data. The data collection method used is documentation to trace the data historically, and the analysis technique used in this study is the z-score.
