Industry, Trade and Cooperatives Sertice, Humbang Hasundutan District
is the executive element of the Districl Government which is responsible to
improve tlw professionalism and work prodrctivity of human resources, to
increase the economic growth, to increase community empowerment in regional
development, and to improve the political and security stabtlity, and this will be
successful if support by the optimal perfotmance of the employees. The purpose of
this study was to find out and analyze the influerce of Training and Discipltne on
the performance of the employees of Industry, Trade and Cooperatives Serttice,
Humbang Hasundutan District. This study used the theory of Human Resources
management which ls especially related to the taintng, disciplirre and
performance of the employees. Ihe population of this study was all of the 46 Civil
Servant of the Industriy, Trade and Cooperatives, Humbang Hasundutan Disffict
who have participated in the training provided. The samples for this study were
less than 100 employees who were selected through intertiews, questionnaire
distribution and documentation study. The data obtained were analyzed through
multiple linear regression tests using SPPS program. The result of this study
showed that simultaneously or partially, training and displine had intluence on
the performance of the employees. The R of this study was 80,2o1 which means
that the independent variables (training and displine) only influenced the
dependent variable (performace of employees) for 80,2o/o, the remaining 19,8%
were inJluenced by the other variables which were not included in this study.
Simultaneously, training and discipline had a very significant inJluencing the
performance of tlu employees was dicpline. Wtth the application of discipline, the
employees will work better and were pushed to obey and abide the ntles set to
achieve the goals of organization.
