Communication Construction In Generating Musical (A Case Study on Work of
Marsius Sitohang), in order to know how Marstus Sitolnng worlrs in a
constructivist paradigm and also to lanw the meanings of the jigre Marsius
Sitolnng extstence of lrfe as a musician. The method used in this research is a
qualitative approach with Marsius Sitohang as a key informants. Data obtained
through the technique of in-depth interviews wtth research subjects as the primuy
data source. Other supporting data obtained through a review of written
documents such as snippets, quotes, personal literatures of Morsius Sitohang.
The resalt showed that in the musical produce, Marstus Sitolwng using
Constructivist Perspective and Interpretation of MeanW in ldeas appearence,
Ideas and Creativity, which Intrapersonal communication with the processing of
information in the intropersonal communlcation comprising: Sensation;
Perception; Memory and Thinking. Sensation is the rature and the environment
would be a good teacher for Marsius Sitohong learning process, sensations into
thinking that later inspired Marsius to try to play and explore musical
irxtruments, especially the Batak hasapiJlwe that uise over time a deep tfre Jdr
the inslnrtitent. Perception;-with this view, Marsius hqve been able to create the
perception of the environment. Due to the nature of the self-taught education
learned he could rely on its erwironment and the people around him. Mennry;
playing beautiful music is a refiection of the home toen memories. Thus was
created the beaatful mwic. Thinking; Marsius ltwe a sense of sattsfoctionwhere
he could dtrecty entertatnt the audtence . This is precisely the strengths Marsias
Sitohang in presenting qualtty music tn o group, especially for iwtant
perfomance. It is important to provide a better appreciationfor the artist so that
they can work more optimally without thinking the doily needs. And also hwe
lmawledge enrichment for youth to appreciate their folk art so that rts not become
