dc.description.abstract | The research aims to examine some factors those influence the University
tuition fee (SPP) information system usage, i.e. performance expectancy, effort
expectancy, facilitating conditions, and information technology maturity of the
organization. The study is based on the model proposed by Venka, tesh et.al. (2003)
which also used by Handayani (2007).
This research used primary data obtained from individual perception of the
SP P information system users in Financial Administration Bureau of the University
of North Sumatra (USU). Using SPP information system as a dependent variable and
four independent variables i.e. performance expectancy, effort expectancy,
facilitating conditions, and information technology maturity of the organization, the
data were analyzed by using multiple regression. Population of the study amounting
to 450 persons were all of the heads and staffe who work at financial sector in the
University of North Sumatra. Sample as many as 54 respondents were taken from the
element of heads and staffe at Bureau of Financial Administration of University of
North Sumatra
Inconsistent with the previous research, the results of the study show that
performance expectancy and information technology maturity of the organization
gave significant influence to SPP information system usage, but effort expectancy and
facilitating conditions did not give any significant influence to SPP information
system usage. All the independent variables together, performance expectancy,
effort expectancy, facilitating conditions, and information technology maturity of the
organization gave significant simultaneously influence to SP P information system
usage. | en_US |
