Analisis Faktor-faktor yang Mempengaruhi Tingkat Pengangguran di Indonesia

Abstract

This research is aimed to analyse the influence of economic growth, salary, education of labour, and inflation rate to amount of unemployment in Indonesia. This research is using secondary data in form of time series year 1985- 2005, which is come from Manpower and Transmigration Departemen, Industry Departemen, Statistic Board Center, Bank of Indonesia, and other sources that is research result and journals. The analysis using Ordinary Least Square Method

(OLS)

This research finds out that economic growth, salary, education of labour, inflation rate, and economic condition has significantly influence to amount of unemployment in Indonesia with significant level of 99 percent, and coefficient determination (R) 95,99 percent Partially, analysis result shows that economic growth has positively influence and non significant to amount of unemployment in Indonesia. Salary has positively influence and significant to amount of unemployment in Indonesia. Education of labour has negatively influence and significant to amount of unemployment in Indonesia. Inflation rate has negatively influence and non significant to amount of unemployment in Indonesia. Condition of economics has positively influence and significant to amount of unemployment in Indonesia

According the results, it is suggested to increase of economic growth till 6% or more that by the monetary stability and improve movement of real sector, with beneficial policys to the real sector. Besides, to increase the quality of labor force with education also have to represent priority
