The waste problem is multidimensional, so it must be addressed regularly. Waste reduction requires cooperative efforts from all parties involved. The purpose of this study is to analyze green behavior, green infrastructure affects environmentally friendly activities (green activity) and green economy in Medan City and analyze waste management in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) targets. Based on the results of the tests carried out, there is a significant influence of green behavior, green infrastructure on environmentally friendly activities. Insignificant green behavior towards the green economy. The analysis of Medan City waste management in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) program can be achieved by including waste pickers as agents in sustainable waste management and as an alternative to strengthening the creative economy that can be reused and recycled with various creations and innovations. Researchers' recommendations let us improve the proper and equitable levy system based on volume-based waste fee (VBWF/ mechanics of waste volume-based retribution) system, namely whoever produces a lot of waste means that the levy pays a lot, which is implemented in permendagri (Ministry of Home Affairs Regulation) No. 7 of 2021 concerning procedures for calculating levy rates in the implementation of waste handling.
