dc.description.abstract | Cryptography is a technique for encoding data by encrypting plaintext into an
unreadable (meaningless) form. Along with the development of the times, agencies
tend to use electronic documents for exchanging data because it is very easy and
fast. However, in exchanging data, theft often occurs, which makes it less efficient.
Therefore, this research was made to provide a solution to this problem by using
hybrid cryptography, so this research discusses the Hybrid Cryptosystem Rabbit
Stream Algorithm and Enhanced Dual RSA. The Rabbit Stream algorithm is a
stream cipher algorithm whose system security depends on generating key bit
streams (keystream), while the Enhanced Dual RSA algorithm is an asymmetric
variant of RSA whose security lies in the difficulty of factoring large numbers into
prime factors. longer in the encryption process when compared to the Rabbit Stream
algorithm. In the research process, the Rabbit Stream algorithm is used to encrypt
the sender's message, and the Enhanced Dual RSA algorithm will encrypt the key
from the Rabbit Stream. The result of the message and key encryption processes
will then be sent to the recipient. After the recipient gets the plaintext and key, the
key is first decrypted with the Enhanced Dual RSA algorithm so as to produce a
key that can decrypt the message using the Rabbit Stream algorithm. The results of
the research state that the Hybrid Cryptosystem Rabbit Stream algorithm and the
Enhanced Dual RSA algorithm are faster in data processing and more secure
because of the layered security of the key. | en_US |
