Abstract

Juvenile delinquency is a factor in the emergence of array of problems in the environment and has an unhealthy impact for society. This is something that s to be watched out for and paid more attention to Knowing factors of family behavior in overcoming Juvenile delinquency is a strategy to reduce the occurrence of juvenile delinquency. These factors include the attitude of parents the level of family cohesion, and the level of violence. This research uses a quantitative method with a descriptive design to determine the frequency and percentage The population and sample in this research are families that have teenagers of 13-18 years with a total of 95 families and the samples are taken ating a total sampling technique. The research results find that factors of family behavior in overcoming juvenile delinquency, positive parental attitudes are 94.7% and megative parental attitudes are 53%. The high level of family cohesion is 97.99% and the low level is 2.79% Low violence level is 100.00 and high is 0.0% Therefore it can be concluded that factors of family behavior in dealing with Juvenile delinquency are the majority of parents have a positive attitude, the level of family cohesion is high and the level of violence is low. It is hoped that the positive attine of parents can continue to be applied, the level of family chesion can be maintained and increased moreover the level of violence can continue to be at a low level
