Pengaruh Motivasi dan Stres Kerja terhadap Kinerja Perawat Pelaksana di Ruang Isolasi Rumah Sakit Swasta Kota Medan

Abstract

A nurse has professional obligation to take care of parients in various conditions, including in the era of Covid-19 pandemic, and they are highly needed to achieve optimal performance. The objective of the research is to analyze the effects of work motivation and burnout on the performance of nurse practitioners at the Type B Hospitals in Medan. The research uses cross sectional design. The population is made up of 52 nurse practitioners in the Covid-19 isolation wards at Murni Teguh Hospital 50 nurses as Mitra Sejati Hospital, and 31 nurses at Imelda Hospital, Medan, and all of them are taken as the samples by using total sampling technique. The data are analyzed by using bivariate analysis with Pearson relation test and multivariate analysis with multiple logistic regression tests. The result of the research shows that there is a correlation between work motivation and nurse practitioners performance (a-0035 p-value <0.05) and there are some effects of burnou on nurse practitioners performance (a-0.040, p-value <0.05). The result of multiple logistic regression tests shows that there are significant effects of wark motivation and burnout on nurse practitioners performance at the private hospitals in Medan (a-0000) It is recommended that the hospital management provide training and workshop and increase work motivation and stress management in the hospitals, especially during Covid-19 pandemic.
