Abstract

The objective of the research was to analyze the impact of Local Government Original Receipt, General Allocation Fund, Sharing Fund, and Other Receipt on the Economic Growth of the Regency/City in North Sumatera Province with Capital Expenditure as intervening variable. Type of research implemented was the causal associational. Sample determination in this research is by the census method. The whole population were taken as the samples. Data collection was done by collecting from the Statistic Bureau of North Sumatera. The data was processed using multiple regression and path analysis. The results showed that Local Government Original Receipt, General Allocation Fund, Sharing Fund, and Other Receipt and Capital Expenditure simultaneously had a significant influence on the Economic Growth of the Regency/City in North Sumatera Province. Partially, General Allocation Fund, Sharing Fund, and Other Receipt had a positive and significant influence on the Economic Growth of the Regency/City in North Sumatera Province, while Local Government Original Receipt and Capital Expenditure had no significant influence on the Economic Growth of the Regency/City in North Sumatera Province. Capital expenditure is not a intervening variable that can mediate the relationship between Local Government Original Receipt, General Allocation Fund, Sharing Fund, and Other Receipt with the Economic Growth of the Regency/City in North Sumatera Province.
