Supervision is needed to create optimal employee performance in an effort to achieve predetermined goals in an organization. With supervision, irregularities can be avoided and the activities carried out by employees will be in accordance with what was planned. This study aims to determine the effect of supervision on employee performance in the Uninhabitable House Rehabilitation Program at the Department of Housing, Settlement Areas and Spatial Planning in Medan City. Therefore, this study has two variables to be tested as follows: First, Supervision (Robbins and Coulter (2016: 290)) has four indicators, namely Setting Standards, Making Measurements, Making Comparisons, and Taking Action (Robbins and Coulter (2016: 290)) Second, Employee Performance has four indicators, namely Quality of Work, Quantity of Work, Implementation of Duties, and Responsibilities (Mangkunegara (2017:75)). The type of research used by researchers is associative using a quantitative approach. The population that became the sample in this study were the Medan City Housing, Settlement Areas and Spatial Planning Office employees who carried out activities in the Uninhabitable House Rehabilitation Program totaling 35 people. The research instrument used a questionnaire with a Likert scale measurement that was processed using the Statistical Program for Social Science (SPSS) to test data validity, data reliability, data normality, data linearity, data heteroscedasticity, simple linear regression analysis, correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination and hypothesis testing. This study produced a simple linear regression equation, namely Y = 29.218 + 0.514X which means that for every 1% addition in the Supervision value, the Employee Performance value increases by 0.514. In addition, seeing from the tcount value of 4.148 > ttable 2.03452 with sig. <0.05 explains that there is a positive and significant influence between Supervision on Employee Performance in the Uninhabitable House Rehabilitation Program at the Housing, Settlement Areas and Spatial Planning Office of Medan City or the hypothesis in this study is accepted with a contribution of 34.3% and the rest 65.7% is influenced by other variables outside of this study.en_US
