Marginal land is land that has limited potential and productivity. Sarimarrihit Village has a slope and a high level of erosion which results in no woody plants growing there, so it needs to be planted.Mango (Mangifera indica L.) is a Multi Purpose Tree Species (MPTS) or multi-functional plant with economic and ecological benefits. Mango can grow well in tropical or dry climates. The aim of this study was to find the right dose of NPK fertilizer for the growth of mango seedlings, for the rehabilitation of the Lake Toba Outskirts Area. The design used was a non-factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 6 treatments and 1 control, namely without treatment or without NPK fertilizer (P₀), 50gr NPK Fertilizer Dosage (P₁), 100gr NPK Fertilizer (P₂) Dosage, 100gr NPK Fertilizer Dosage 150gr NPK Fertilizer (P₃), 200gr NPK Fertilizer Dosage (P₄), 250gr NPK Fertilizer Dosage (P₅), 300gr NPK Fertilizer Dosage (P₆), Each treatment was carried out 5 replicates. The distribution of results showed that the treatment of NPK fertilizer on Mango (Mangifera indica L.) gave a significant effect on the parameters of height, diameter, and number of leaves. P₂ treatment with a dose of 100gr NPK Fertilizer with growing media given manure briquettes showed the best results to meet the nutrient needs of mango plants at the age of 4 months after planting so it is good for use for Rehabilitation of Lake Toba Outskirt Areas.s3
