| dc.description.abstract | Green Open Space (RTH) is an area whose use is open and dominated by vegetation. RTH also plays a role as a habitat for biodiversity in increasing comfort. Stabat is a crowded area that makes the space uncontrollable. It is necessary to have a breakthrough in the concept of RTH development, so that its existence can provide maximum function for improving the quality of the environment, both flora and fauna. Therefore, economic valuation can be used as an important tool in increasing public awareness of the use and management of natural resources and the environment. This study aims to obtain the economic value of RTH as a habitat for biodiversity in Stabat District, Langkat Regency. The method used is to use the Contingent Valuation Method (CVM) to obtain the value of willingnes to pay (WTP) and the method used to analyze the data is logistic regression to find out the variables that affect the WTP of RTH environmental services as a habitat for biodiversity. The respondents in this study were 100. with an age distribution of 20-70 years and an average income of Rp. 2,281,000. The total value of the WTP of RTH environmental services as a biodiversity habitat is Rp. 724,327,500 / year with an average perindividu value of Rp. 32,300 / year. The factors that influence the WTP of RTH environmental services as a place of biodiversity are length of stay, perception and behavior of RTH. | en_US |
