The objectives of this research are: (1) to describe the forms and categories of the Riau Malay marine eco-discourse (EKMR) ecolexicon, (2) to reveal the representations, relations, and identities in the eco-discourse of Riau Malay Maritime; (3) to assess ecosophy in the eco-discourse of Riau Malay Maritime: and (4) to find and analyze the ideologies exposed in the eco-discourse of Riau Malay Maritime. This descriptive qualitative research employs Stibbe's Critical Ecolinguistics (2015) and Fairclough's Critical Discourse Analysis (2003). The eco-discourse of Riau Malay Maritime about the marine, such as texts, marine laws, Riau history, folklore, poetry, gurindam, parables, and Malay teachings. comprise the data for this study. All data are collected solely through listening with no speaking or observation method (Sudaryanto, 2016). The data analysis technique carried out in this research is the interactive model of Miles. Huberman, and Saldana (2014). The findings reveal that: (1) the forms of eco- lexicon in EKMR are in the form of basic words and affixed words and are classified as nouns and verbs; (2) EKMR has representation, relation, and identity of text producers, text consumers, and social culture of the Riau Malay community, and (3) ecosophy in EKMR includes the protection, preservation, utilization, and inheritance, which reveals the relationship between humans and nature, humans and other humans, and humans and ALLAH the Almighty God; (4) the EKMR provides information about the ideologies of human relations and the aquatic environment, social and cultural values, Islamic values, and Malay power
