Kontribusi Hutan Kemasyarakatan terhadap Pendapatan Rumah Tangga Kelompok Tani Hutan Nelayan Mandiri di Desa Sei Tuan Kecamatan Pantai Labu

Abstract

The implementation of community forest is a synergy in realizing a prosperous forest community and sustainable forest utilization. Community involvement in forest product management is very influential, due to intensity of interaction carried out by communities living around forests is very high throughout Indonesia. This study aims to identify the contribution community forest to community incomes of Nelayan Mandiri Forest Farmer Group and identify community forest land management used by community forest of Nelayan Mandiri. The research was conducted using a survey method to 27 members of the Nelayan Mandiri Forest Farmer Group. The results of this study indicated that the contribution of community forestry to community income was 69.51% from agroforestry, while the contribution of income obtained from non-community forest land was 30.48%. The percentage of total income to total expenditure was 145.97% and the Nelayan Mandiri Forest Farmer Group as the holder of a community forest land use permit utilized the community forest land to meet their life needs such as using land for agroforestry management and opening up ecotourism potential.
