Abstract

Transformational leadership is the method leaders use to influence their subordinates to want to work collaboratively and productively to achieve organizational goals. Leaders must be able to communicate, build team trust, and make decisions quickly. Telenursing is one of the most advanced information and communication technology systems in the healthcare field and can be used to provide nursing services and care remotely, including diagnosis, treatment, disease and injury prevention, research and consultation, and health education. The activities such as sharing on mobile media,SMS, discharge planning, telecare, home visits, video calls in the form of website development. This practice for senior aims to determine the effects of transformational leadership on telenursing. The survey was conducted among all nursing staff in the inpatient unit of USU Hospital in Mahogany. The measurement tools used are questionnaires containing indicators of Transformational Leadership and Telenursing. The results showed that telenursing helped reduce hospitalizations, thus reducing treatment costs (effective and efficient in terms of medical costs), reducing the number of visits to medical services, and increasing coverage of nursing services. affect. A broader and more equitable set can be used in the field of nursing education (distance learning models) to develop health informatics-based nursing research and improve nurse and patient satisfaction with the nursing services provided.
