dc.description.abstractThe use of pipelines in the field of civil engineering one of which is contained in the water distribution network system. Distribution of drinking water needs for the needs of everyday life is very important. Likewise, pipeline network analysis is quite complex and requires large calculations. In the piped water distribution network system using a pipe, high pressure loss factors need to be considered. If the discharge and high pressure loss is large enough can lead to no distribution of water well.The stages in completing this final task that is first collecting data needed both primary and secondary data from PDAM Tirtaluhou branch parapat. The next step is to calculate the discharge and high pressure loss done by using Epanet 2.0 and Pipe Flow Expert by using the Darcy Weisbach equation.Result of calculation and analysis of drinking water requirement for one of PDAM Tirtaluhou branch of parapat that is Housing Complex of Taman Setia Budi Indah II, obtained total water requirement 1,513,150 m3 per day with number of subscribers 2752 NPA. The peak load capacity (water requirement at maximum hours) of 0.0062241 m3 / s.The largest debit that flows in the pipeline using the Pipe Flow Expert software is 3722,779 m3 on pipeline 64 between nodes E7. In addition, the largest debit that flows in the pipeline using the Pipe Flow Expert software is 3722.77 m3 on pipeline 64 between nodes E7. While the existing Reservoir Capacity of 26.4 m3. Sedangnkan that is needed in a day of 807 m3.en_US
